Chuck Reedy receives the newly established John T. Hicks Department Marine of the Year award from John T. Hicks.  Presented during the banquet at the 2005 Department of Tennessee Convention at Johnson City, TN on June 25, 2005

Members of the Tri-Cities TN Detachment #969 attended the Annual Eagle Scout & Leader Recognition Banquet of the Sequoyah Council of the Boy Scouts of America on March 14, 2005.  The Sequoyah Council is comprised of 1,700 scouts in 7 Districts which cover 8 counties in SW VA and 8 counties in NE TN.  Ninety four scouts became Eagle Scouts at the banquet and were presented framed MCL Good Citizenship awards by the detachment.
